It looks to me like a simple approach would be to change the lookup in modules. Is there any way to find out why the Raid and all drives failed?

Note You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to adaptecc bug. This s controller is on a supermicro superserver P-8R. It is surprisingly often that it’s not disk who is at fault, but SCSI bus.

After the install, the system refused to boot. I tried note all these failed on 2 seperate identical servers before FC3 disk 1 raid 1 fc1 previous install- worked FC3 disk 1 raid 1 new array – worked FC3 disk 1 raid 5 new array – worked FC3 kickstart raid 5 new array – worked FC4 disk 1 raid 5 new array – worked I just don’t get it. I used raidutil to force it back to optimal adsptec after reboot didn’t help at all.
