I’ve personally never used a 5 way audio system but know there are configurations inside bios and windows for that. The description field on the bios web page is not a comprehensive list. We can’t waste our time looking back through a forum thread looking for the system information.

The connections you do not have hooked up, you can leave unconnected and the computer will work, although you probably will not have sound. If you are not going to try the Windows Vista procedure for you motherboard, I can’t provide any more help.

Finally, what version of Windows are you using? The problem is probably with the main cables going to the subwoofer from the PC, or in the cables going to the right speaker that has the 4cogedual-sata2 for volume.

The ASRock specifications say that your motherboard supports 5. I have xp 32 bit operating system I have xp 32 bit operating system. I have had a similar board for years and still love it, even if it is mothballed at the moment.
