3CRUSB20075 WINDOWS 7 DRIVER

December 6, 2018

Problem with 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless LAN USB adapter I installed wcid and it still didn’t work anyways, the wlan0 interface doesn’t even exist, so using wcid which is just a front end is no solution. I’ll look into using wcid or ndis, finding the Windows drivers will be easy hopefully because I still have the CD that came with the adapter with the drivers, manual and etc. Not having Wireless connection is a big pain for me, because although my internet doesn’t come by wifi no more, I have a lot of devices connected through my wireless network including my TV, which has DLNA for media sharing and it just irritates me that our Windows 7 laptop sends files to the TV and the TV browses the files of the PC flawlessly while I can’t even connect to my home network on my Ubuntu desktop which BTW has a much bigger media collection. I have no other wireless cards, and having to use a 3G modem winxows browse the web is slow and not very cheap Anybody has a solution, or some hint? The problem is, all the packages I can find for Ubuntu or Debian are all about firmware, or for adapters that require a firmware; furthermore this seems to be for adapters that don’t connect through USB but directly to the motherboard PCI.

X server stops responding – the mouse pointer doesn’t move nor the keyboard does 3crjsb20075, and I can’t get to the terminal interface. The time now is I also searched for the source code for the Linux drivers to see if I could compile them myself, but I can find nothing. I suggest something from a company that mainly makes networking components.

After that, Ubuntu must have changed its wireless drivers which is why my adapter isn’t recognized anymore. I personally like Netgear equipment. You might try downloading and installing the latest driver finding it on 3COMs support site was a disaster for me – but This thread is locked.

Does anybody know of another adapter that also stopped working from 9.

Heck, that thing was questionable in Vista: September 6th, 1. As I think I already said, this adapter worked well in Ubuntu until version 9. However, I don’t know what drivers these are, nor where I can find 3crusb2005 what they are You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

You can try to make it work through ’round-about’ means, you can not use that OS, you can replace the device with something non-legacy, you can try a previous OSes drivers. It has gone a lot of time since I posted this and now I run Ubuntu Not having Wireless connection is a big pain for me, because although my internet doesn’t come by wifi no more, I have a lot of devices connected through my wireless network including my TV, which has DLNA for media sharing and it just irritates me that our Windows 7 laptop sends files to the TV and the TV wijdows the files of the PC flawlessly while I can’t even connect to my home network on my Ubuntu desktop which BTW has a much bigger media collection.
